The Fine Print
- Charges listed include the DSL loop and Avvanta's service. All service fees will be billed by Avvanta. Telephone service with Verizon is required for service. Avvanta charges a one time $60.00 setup charge for all new Standard DSL service activations.
- All speeds listed are maximum speeds and are not guaranteed. Factors such as DSL signal quality, internet congestion and other factors may effect DSL line speeds and performance.
- Service requires a compatible DSL Router/Modem. Modems may be purchased for $99.99 from Verizon and must be purchased at the time of ordering. Avvanta does support additional modems beyond those supported by Verizon, for a complete list of supported modems, see our Setup section.
- Avvanta's DSL Standard services include a single dynamic IP address. Some DSL Modems provided by Verizon or Avvanta have routing capabilities that allow for multiple computers to be connected and use the DSL connection simultaneously. There are no additional charges for connecting multipe computers up to a single DSL line using this method. Servers are not permitted; if you would like to run servers please see our SOHOxl DSL or SOHOxs DSL offerings.
