The Fine Print
- Qwest prices listed are believed to be current and all prices listed are subject to change without notice. Avvanta's portion will be billed directly, Qwest will add the DSL line portion to your monthly phone bill. Qwest's line charges may be subject to taxes and other surcharges. Avvanta charges a one time $10.00 setup charge charge for all new Basic DSL accounts. Qwest charges a one time $99.00 activation fee for new DSL subscribers.
- All speeds listed are maximum speeds and are not guaranteed. Factors such as DSL signal quality, internet congestion and other factors may effect DSL line speeds and performance.
- Service requires a compatible DSL Router/Modem. Modems may be purchased for $59.99 from Qwest or rented for $5.00/month. Avvanta does support additional modems beyond those supported by Qwest, for a complete list of supported modems, see our Support section.
- Avvanta's DSL Basic services include a single dynamic IP address. DSL Modems provided by Qwest or Avvanta have routing capabilities that allow for multiple computers to be connected and use the DSL connection simultaneously. There are no additional charges for connecting multipe computers up to a single DSL line using this method. Servers are not permitted; if you would like to run servers please see our SOHOxl DSL or SOHOxs DSL offerings.
- The Qwest Choice DSL Premier service runs at 3Mbit, 5Mbit or 7Mbit download speeds based on the capabilities of your phone line. All speeds offered are maximum speeds and are not guaranteed. Factors such as DSL signal quality, internet congestion and other factors may effect DSL line speeds and performance.
- Service activation times are subject to Qwest service availability and are not guaranteed.
- Qwest rates shown for Small/Medium Business are for month-to-month pricing. Discounts are available for 1, 2 or 3 year contracts. Call our office for additional information on contract rates.
- Standalone DSL Service does not require an existing phone line from Qwest.
