Common Support Questions

  • How do I change my Avvanta password?

Your password can be changed from the CCC at avvantamail.com from the Tools menu.

Password changes can take up to 15 minutes to completely propagate through the Avvanta network for all services.

When changing your password, keep in mind that it changes the password for all services associated with that account. If you are running a Century Link DSL line using a Cisco, Best Data or ActionTec router, don't forget to update the password there as well. Most other application software will prompt you to re-enter your password after you have changed it.

  • I've forgotten my password, can you give it to me or email it to me?

Passwords are stored on our system using a one-way encryption algorithm. Once passwords are entered into the system, they are virtually impossible to recover.

If you have forgotten or lost your password, you will need to call our office at (425) 818-6500 or toll free at 888-662-5274 and speak with a representative who can change your password. The representative will verify your identity and change your password for you.

If the account is an add-on mailbox, the primary account holder can change the passwords for the mailboxes on an account from the mailbox manager in the CCC.
