Avvanta Administrators will be performing load balancer maintenance Thursday morning, July 26th, between 12:01AM and 1:00AM Pacific Time. During this work you should expect periodic outages of our main web site and the CCC.
We will be replacing one of the load balancers handling access to the primary web services at www.avvanta.com and www.avvantamail.com. Part of this process includes fail-over testing. By design the fail-over testing requires that services be interrupted for numerous brief periods.
This work will not interrupt connectivity or mail services.
We will endeavor to keep interruptions in service as brief as possible. There is always the possibility of some unforeseen bug or problem that could extend the outage time. Administrators will make every effort to correct the problem or implement the back out plan quickly if something occurs. All outage times are estimates based on expected outcomes of the work being performed and previous experience performing the same or similar work.
