At around 10:00am Friday, July 27th the main storage array suffered a drive failure. The array began rebuilding that failed drive using the ready spare when that backup drive also failed. Normally a drive rebuild occurs "live" while the system is in general use with minimal impact on normal operations. With multiple drive failures however we had no choice but to take the entire array offline to physically replace the damaged drives and perform a clean restoration of approximately one terrabyte of data.
The rebuild process and data restoration is complete at this time. All mail and hosted web sites are again available. We apologize for the interruption of service and thank you very much for your patience in this matter. If you are still experiencing any mail or hosted web site issues please call our office.
