Qwest Serivce Interruption

Beginning on Tuesday, August 30th, Qwest DSL subscribers will be transitioned from our current network center to our new facilities. Qwest will start the migrations at 10am and end by 5pm. There will be a brief interruption in service when a DSL connection is moved. This interruption should last no more than a few minutes. These migrations will continue through Thursday September 1st.


Your DSL connection should automatically resume its normal On state as soon as it is moved. However, if your connection is down for more than 5 minutes the following steps will reestablish your connection:

  • Turn off your computer
  • Turn off your DSL modem or router
  • Wait 30 seconds
  • Turn on your DSL modem or router
  • Wait for your DSL, Internet or WAN Link light to become solid
  • Turn your computer back on
