On August 1st, we increased the storage space for all customers from 25MB to 50MB. There were no changes in account prices from this change.On Friday, August 13th, we will be updating the main Avvanta web server. This is a two fold update:
- www.avvanta.com is getting a new look and new content
- All personal sites are on a new web server with a new URL
All sites using http://www.avvanta.com/~username should now use http://home.avvanta.com/~username. This new web server is ready and live now. On Friday we start automatically forwarding any requests from the old URL to the new URL so no pages will be unavailable and your visitors will not have any problems accessing your pages.
In summary, all personal home pages are moving to http://home.avvanta.com/~username.
