Yet another variant of the MyDoom worm is making the rounds. It claims to be from Avvanta support with an attached notice. Reminder: Avvanta will never send an attachment of any kind to your email address. If you ever receive an email claiming to be from Avvanta administration with an attachment do not open that attachment.
Our Anti-Virus system (AvvantaAV) will be updated as soon as new definitions become available to recognize this new variant and deal with it before it gets to your Inbox. Until then we repeat: Avvanta will never send you any attachments via email. Never open an attachment claiming to be from Avvanta Online Services administration.
