We will need to restart the access servers at 7am. The access servers will be back up and functional by 7:20am. While the access servers are restarted, dialup connections will not be available and existing dialup connections will be dropped.

The modem upgrades will be completed by 5pm.

The new v.92 software is backward compatible with older modems.

This upgrade will only affect dial-up modem connections and have no impact on DSL connectivity.

We have been unable to get the necessary v.92 drivers functioning with the software provided by our vendors. We are working with Cisco on this issue and will be upgrading the modems as soon as Cisco helps us find a solution to the problems we encountered performing the upgrades.
