On the morning of Thursday July 21st, between 12:01 am and 4:00 am, Avvanta will be performing maintenance on DSL hardware that will temporarily interrupt DSL internet service. This maintenance will only affect Avvanta DSL customers. This maintenance will not require any action on your part.
 The maintenance scheduled for Thursday morning has been rescheduled for Friday morning. Avvanta Administrators will be performing server maintenance Friday, March 18th, between 12:01AM and 2:00AM Pacific Time. During this work you should expect intermittent disruptions of connectivity and service availability.

We are experiencing issues with two of our DNS servers. DNS service is available however the down servers are affecting some services. Avvanta administrators are working on the issue and will update this notification as information becomes available.
Update 21:50: This issue has now been resolved. The problem was traced to a faulty switch that required rewiring to work around the failed unit. Services impacted by this outage included connection authentication (DSL and DialUp), DNS, and ironically enough our NOC Notification System. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Avvanta Administrators will be performing very brief maintenance on DNS services Wednesday, December 1st, between 12:01AM and 12:30AM Pacific Time. The work being performed will have no impact on connectivity and should have little to no impact on service availability or performance.
