With the exception of MyMail mailbox accounts, all accounts at Avvanta include 100MB of storage space that can be used for web space. Avvanta web space includes many features and capabilities.- What is the address to my home page (URL)?
- The URL to your home page is http://home.avvanta.com/~username, where username is your user name on Avvanta's system (this is also the first half of your Avvanta email address).
- How do I upload pages?
- There are two ways to upload your pages, using an FTP program to connect to ftp://userftp.avvanta.com/, and uploading them through the CCC's File Manager. For more detailed information, see Uploading Web Pages.
- "Connection refused (max clients per user 4)" when logging in to FTP
- The FTP server will allow only (4) active simultaneous connections per username. If you encounter this error often your FTP client is probably not closing un-used connections properly. Try closing all instances of your FTP program and re-open it.
