In February of 2004 Qwest launched their Standalone DSL service, which does not require existing voice telephone service to obtain.

The new service runs at up to 1.5M down by 896K up. It is available from Qwest for $33.00 per month for the signal with a one time installation fee of $99.00. (Pricing as of February, 2004) The Avvanta services available for these new lines are our DSL Plus, SOHOxl Plus and SOHOxs Plus Internet service packages. These packages are detailed in the Services section of our web site.

Existing telephone service is required for Verizon DSL.
